English Placeholder Text Generator

How to use English Placeholder Text Generator
Use it when you are testing readability
If the question is whether your line length, line height, or font size is comfortable to read, Latin cannot answer it — people scan Latin rather than reading it. English placeholder text produces something much closer to real reading behaviour, which makes it the better choice for typography decisions on body copy.
Expect stakeholders to react to the words
Give a client a mockup full of readable English and some of the feedback will be about the copy, no matter how clearly you label it as placeholder. That is sometimes useful and sometimes a derailment. If the meeting is about layout, standard Lorem Ipsum protects the agenda better.
It is the easiest variant to ship by accident
Plausible English filler is much harder to catch in review than Latin, because it does not look wrong at a glance. Before you launch, search the codebase for a distinctive phrase from the generated text — a habit worth keeping regardless of which variant you use.
