This preset produces balanced paragraphs sized for continuous reading, which is what you need when you are setting margins, testing a template in Word or Google Docs, or checking how a multi-page layout paginates.
How to use Lorem Ipsum for Documents
Generate enough to cross a page break
Pagination problems only appear at page boundaries: orphans, widows, headings stranded at the foot of a page, tables split across sheets. Produce enough text to fill two or three pages before you judge a template.
Check the print stylesheet separately
For anything intended to be printed or exported to PDF, review it in print preview rather than on screen. Margins, colours, and page breaks behave differently, and screen review will not catch those issues.
Mind the measure on wide pages
A full-width paragraph on A4 or Letter can easily exceed 100 characters per line, well past comfortable reading. Long formal paragraphs make that obvious in a way short blocks do not.
