100 Words of Lorem Ipsum
A hundred words is the workhorse length: about one solid paragraph, the size of an article abstract, a hero subheading with supporting copy, or the body of a medium-sized card.
It is also the length at which line-height and measure start to matter. Below fifty words you can get away with almost any typographic setting; at a hundred, a measure that is too wide or leading that is too tight becomes visibly uncomfortable to read.
How to use 100 Words of Lorem Ipsum
Use it to check your measure
Comfortable line length for body text is roughly 50 to 75 characters. A hundred words is enough to see whether your container is pushing past that, which is one of the most common readability problems in otherwise clean designs.
One paragraph or two?
Generate it as a single block and again split across two paragraphs. The same word count reads very differently depending on how it is broken up, and that choice affects how much vertical space the component needs.
